Hi, I’m Dee. I enjoy all things creative. I really enjoy a challenge. But above all else, I love creating experiences for people. I think that is what drew me into interior design, and specifically hospitality design initially. It has allowed me to combine my greatest loves into a single endeavor, which is truly the most inspiring thing a creative person can hope for. When I created D. Dasher Creative, what I was really creating was a place to highlight and showcase the creative skills I’ve learned through my life and offer them as more defined services to the general public. Some things we do start as a hobby or interest and as we do them more and more they turn into skills. When that happens to me, I find myself wanting to share that experience with others. And that is what D. Dasher Creative is all about, sharing the experiences I have with others in the form of various artistic and spiritual mediums.

I enjoy Places. The concept of place and time has always intrigued me. Every single thing in this world has a unique background and I love to highlight that in my design, photography and art services. Meaning is created by experiences, and experiences create meaning.  Design is the method by which you start to consolidate experience into something tangible. My roots are in the tangible world of interior design and creating spaces that people can feel and touch. However, so much of interior design is an unspoken and actually unseen natural energy force which is created by the designer. It is the same with any art piece, the artist puts their soul into their work and that is then experienced by its viewers. When we speak of energy and concepts like Feng Shui, we are tapping into the natural rhythm of the world and doing so can create healing and well-being for anyone who comes into contact with it. That is what I seek to do in all of my work, to create things that have a buzz about them, that heal through intention in their creation.

I have been designing anything and everything for as long as I can remember, looking back what I do everyday makes that inner child really very happy. I have created the life she always wanted, making a living in art, music and the pursuit of many creative endeavors. Living on a mountainside with my cats, cooking delicious and healthy meals and following my spiritual practices. Seeking something greater than myself everyday and treating every moment as an opportunity for growth. Art comes in so many forms, and I find myself pursuing them all. As I grow as an artist and designer, I find my favorite projects are those that let me combine all of my interests and skills into designs that speak to people.
